Fashion Photography Workshop - Winterthur

In the name of creativity, fun, networking and portfolio building, I organized a small fashion photography workshop recently in Winterthur. Maria Wyler, Jeff Krahenbuhl, Rachel Hendrix, Noel Tock and myself all rendezvoused at my office in Winterthur and headed out to the Katharina Sulzer Platz to get creative. Everyone had fun and we moved through about four different background spots in roughly two hours of shooting. Maria did a super job modeling for us. I took only a couple shots, and mostly played the roll of assistant/shooting coach (I tried to avoid hogging our model) and helped the others by reflecting light into their shots with my very handy Photoflex 5-in-1 Multidisc Reflector. I’m looking forward to organizing more of these workshops. Please let me know (in the blog comments) if you would be interested in coming to the next gathering.

Wow, do I really look like that when I'm shooting? This workshop was a lot of fun, so let's do it again soon! I've got some other folks in mind to help out with the modeling.
