Rapperswil Verlobungsfotoshooting

Without being familiar with Swiss geography, one might assume that Rapperswil could be home to some kind of European Hip-Hop royalty. In fact, it’s not. Instead Rapperswil is an über-quaint Swiss village (few of them are less than picture-perfect) located at the opposite end of Lake Zürich from the city of Zürich. It makes an absolutely perfect place for wedding photography and engagement shoots (DE: Verlobungsfotoshootings). 

I recently rendezvoused with Corina and Jonas for such an outing. We happened to pick one of the hottest days of the year, so we decided to kick things off with some cold drinks and pizza before we got underway with pictures. With full stomachs we set off and explored the town, finding lots of great backgrounds everywhere we went. Every time I visit Rapperswil I’m blown away by its charm and photography potential. They should have named it “Photogswil.”

Thanks to Corina and Jonas for their creativity and willingness to go for it on a hot day! Hopefully it’s a bit cooler in October for their big day.
