Anything goes at Zürich Street Parade!

This year I vowed not to miss it, and when I woke to gray skies and drizzle the morning of Zürich’s legendary “Street Parade” I stuck to my plan—exploring Zürich’s Steet Parade with my camera. During the last few weeks it seems that every town Northeast Switzerland has been holding their own annual public summer party. Fireworks, music and costumes can be found almost Friday and Saturday night without searching far. However, it culminated yesterday in Zürich at the world famous annual “Street Parade” in which swarms of scandalously dressed party animals flood the streets of downtown Zürich in what is essentially a state authorized rave party. Anything goes!
