Rapperswil Wedding

wedding in rapperswil

Since moving to Switzerland last year, I had been waiting for the day to come when I would get to photograph a wedding in Rapperswil. Besides having a really cool name, Rapperswil was basically built with photographers in mind. It’s a background paradise and everything seems to be made out of ancient stones put into place hundreds of years ago. I can’t wait to go back.

Congratulations to Nicole and Michael! Thanks also to Jesse Cunningham who helped out with the lighting gear and grabbed this fun shot of me working with my subjects.

What white lens is that Matt?

You mean wide? In the church I used my 12-24. Not my favorite lens, but when the distortion is removed and the perspective corrected with PS it looks OK.

In the first picture it looks like you have a white Sony lens?

Ah, gotcha. Sorry. That's actually a white Nikon 70-200 2.8. I bought it about 1.5 yrs ago before moving over here. It's a bit unusual.
