Team Portrait-Zürich Financial Services

It seems that recently I’ve been shooting big group portraits fairly often, and last week I had the honor of producing a group portrait of the Zürich Financial Services team in Widnau, SG. It was an interesting assignment for several reasons. Number one, it challenged my German language abilities (there were only a couple English speakers in the group of 16). Number two, the shoot took place in the middle of a very busy roundabout (in German: rundfahrt). Number three, posing and lighting big groups of people is always challenging, but fun nonetheless! Everyone in the group had a good sense of humour and we were able to work quickly and get the job done in about 45 minutes. I never imagined that I would need to add orange safety vests and traffic cones to my photography kit, but they came in very handy and will definitely come with me to the next shoot which involves dodging rush hour traffic.
